The design for the stand allows for a small footprint and the use of gravity for each stage of the brew process. The highest tier holds the HLT (hot liquor tank), the middle tier holds the MLT (Mash-Lauter Tun, and the lowest tier is the boil kettle. After the boil is completed, the beer is chilled with a brazed copper plate chiller.
